1  | 《漢書·蓺文志》曰：「六書，謂象形、象事、象意、象聲、轉注、假借，造字之本也。」顏注曰：「象形，謂畫成其物，隨體詰屈，日月是也；象事，卽指事也，謂視而可識，察而見意，上下是也；象意，卽會意也，謂比類合誼，以見指撝，武信是也；象聲，即形聲，謂以事為名，取譬相成，江河是也。轉注，謂建類一首，同意相受，考老是也；假借，謂本無其字，依聲託事，令長是也。文字之義，總歸六書，故曰立字之本也。」 |
