94  | 尚書鄺埜，郴州人，飭躬縝慮，勉勉於學。永樂中為御史，命察阻鈔法，按犯邊倭寇失律，擒山海關賄吏，救活營役疫人，辨石州民不軌之誣，皆以廉平稱。宣德中，陝右華亭宜川饑，公為移粟。移民後，擢尹京兆，節用愛民，豪狡不得為術。正統初，擢兵部。公務惜其力，養其銳氣以待不虞。天下總小旗，例試京師受代，以公請免。己巳扈從遇害，謚忠肅。 |
