6  | 太祖曰：「歡前再襲潼關，吾軍不過霸上。今者大來，兵未出郊。賊顧謂吾但自守耳，無遠鬥意。又狃於得志，有輕我之心。乘此擊之，何往不克。賊雖造橋，不能徑渡。此五日中，吾取竇泰必矣。公等勿疑。」庚戌，太祖率騎六千還長安，聲言欲保隴右。辛亥，謁帝而潛出軍。癸丑旦，至小關。竇泰卒聞軍至，惶懼，依山為陣，未及成列，太祖縱兵擊破之，盡俘其眾萬餘人。斬泰，傳首長安。高敖曹適陷洛州，執刺史泉企，聞泰之歿，焚輜重棄城走。齊神武亦撤橋而退。企子元禮尋復洛州，斬東魏刺史杜密。太祖還軍長安。 |
