《卷二十六》
61  | 庚子，詔曰：「學校以善風俗人倫，治則興，亂則廢，非特教養而已也。乃者親詔有司，以月書、季考之密，退送煩勞，待養有妨，未當士心，故令考正。若罷縣學，則士非里選；廢學糧，則人無所養；減教授，則無師；併提舉，則無總，名存實廢，甚非教育之本。朕恭覽熙寧詔書，以俟興建學校，然後講求三代所以教育選舉之法，施於天下，則庶幾可復古矣。復鄉舉里選，布之天下，以追三代之隆，神考之志也。而各減廢，於朕繼述之孝，其可得乎！其縣學、提舉、官學、田糧、教授並各依舊。退送者，更展一試，特給假，許不限次數，以優士之在學者。《詩》不云乎君子能長育人材，則天下喜樂之矣？咨爾多士，宜加體意。」《紀事本末》卷百二十六。 |
