六二，明夷夷于左股用拯馬壯吉夷于左股是行不能壯也以柔居中用夷其明進不殊類退不近難不見疑憚順以則也故可用拯馬而壯吉也不垂其翼然後乃免也。疏《正義》曰明夷夷于左股者左股被傷行不能壯六二以柔居中用夷其明不行剛壯之事者也故曰明夷夷于左股莊氏云言左者取其傷小則比夷右未為切也夷于左股明避難不壯不為闇主所疑猶得處位不至懷懼而行然後徐徐用馬以自拯濟而獲其壯吉也故曰用拯馬壯吉也。

初六，用拯馬壯吉。渙散也處散之初乖散未甚故可以遊行得其志而違於難也不在危劇而後乃逃竄故曰用拯馬壯吉疏《正義》曰：初六處散之初乖散未甚可用馬以自拯拔而得壯吉也故曰用拯馬壯吉
