1  | 帝諱由榔，神宗之孫，桂恭王常瀛第四子也。常瀛最少，與惠王常潤同李貴妃出。萬歷二十九年冬十月己卯，與福、瑞、惠三王俱受封。四十二年，福王先就國洛陽。天啟七年，瑞、惠、桂三王始各就國。瑞國漢中，惠國荊州，桂國衡州，地皆荒瘠。而衡在江湖之表，尤為僻遠。常瀛靜守藩封，號稱賢王。正妃王氏，貴人范氏，以選侍孫氏妖媚見幸，故王、范俱不見容。後數年，選侍坐巫蠱事死，王始親二宮。生四子，長、次俱夭。崇禎十五年，三子及四子皆冠。會督撫題請，發宗人府序名玉牒。咨禮部會題，冊封三子為安仁王，四子為永明王。 |
