10  | 成問于齊于生曰：上巳干名，抑為辰乎？齊于生曰：上為上旬，巳乃干名。古人卜日用干為凖，凡其數月，然後以辰。故三正建月，爰定子丑，四時分日，乃始甲乙，不觀之禮乎？上丁習舞，仲丁習樂，又不觀之，傳乎？上辛大雩，季辛又雩。其云上者，以上旬也。仲者，中旬季下旬也，其云丁辛，則以干也。蓋旬凖于十十干妃之日，有循環，干無遺數，所為可定以上也。若辰以十二為準，則惟月十二可以妃之，使以辰準日，則日有常旬，辰嬴二數，上難等矣。請遂言之，當其上旬朔在子丑，則此一旬乃無戌亥，假使上旬朔在午未，則此一旬已無辰巳，既無辰巳，上無巳矣。然必用巳巳在中旬，將名此巳為上巳乎抑中巳乎？是數之貿也。故沈約《宋書》曰：自宋以後，但用三日，不復用巳，惡其貿也。故《風俗通》云：「巳者，祉也，惟巳可止，故用祓除。此為巳也。故《爾雅》稱巳月為則，月則亦止也。 |
