37  | 張孟中字道宗，閩縣人。父澤，成化進士，任廣東潮州巡道。孟中，正德辛未進士，初授戶部主事。時豎劉瑾、江彬等日導武宗居豹房，設皇店以為樂。九年正月，乾清宮災，詔求直言，孟中應詔，疏陳「開言路，親朝政，罷豹房，御經筵，見大臣，斥番僧，還邊軍，定國本，罷皇店，革酒店」十事，詞甚切至。尋轉兵部職方司員外，復疏陳六事，請「崇聖學，建儲位，通言路，戒遊幸，去小人，正名號」，武宗大怒，廷杖之，創甚，卒於寓邸，時年二十有八。萬歷末，祀學宮，著有《理學辨異》、《心性辨微》、《自怡集》。［HT6SS］《張氏家傳》 |
