155  | ［HT］譚綸字子理，宜黃人。嘉靖二十三年進士，有文武才。時閩苦倭，三衛軍驕不可用。適綸方居艱，以輔臣徐階、楊博薦，就家拜都御史，巡撫福建。綸至，以精兵千人自隨，召衛卒郭天養，數其罪，斬之。新法令，具餱糧，責諸將為滅賊計。無何，都督戚繼光破倭寇，殲之境上。綸復遣偏師擊古田諸山寇，悉平之。招撫流移，蠲恤死喪，閩人始有更生之樂。後以地方平定，乞終喪。官至兵部尚書，贈太子太保，謚襄敏。《福建通志》 |
