31  | 林英字章叔，古田人。洪武二十九年，由貢士選監察御史，劾奏李景隆誤國，謫知瑞安縣。時民多逋亡，在邑者苦稅差，英立法丈量，所餘虛糧，令墾荒補之。立鄉約，行文公家禮，建立齋舍與講學。靖難師起，還英舊職，命與翰林修撰王叔英募兵廣德。比至，勢不可為，嘆曰：「臣生無補於時，死有負於國。」再拜自經，時年三十有四，妻宋氏亦自經死。 |
