115  | 鄧炳，字子幾，順德人。性亷靜簡易。正德戊辰進士，授南京刑部主事，歴郎中，出知太平府，擢廣西兵備副使，所至有政聲。尋以剿思恩賊有功，當遷，以病乞休。居家節儉寡營，雖官監司猶然。布素也。卒，年九十。同邑鍾華以鄉薦歴光澤令、經學文義，與炳齊名。張澯字景川，順德人，善昭之孫，生而秀朗。弱冠，以正德辛未進士，知建平三年稱職，待詔考功。先是，巡江御史賀洪有邑子客遊，建平，檄澯與之徭，不聽，而澯所擒治，邑豪復搆之。於是洪論澯不稱職，改廣昌。澯乃上書，訟洪違憲綱、聽請寄，挾懷私忿，凌轢下僚諸狀。洪坐削籍，澯仍改廣昌。尋遷禮部主事，督㑹同館。是時，大司馬王瓊與都御史彭澤有怨，以處哈宻事，欲寘澤於法，澯獨爭之。瓊遣其屬儲洵持牒邀澯窮，核其事，且囑曰：「事成有顯擢」。澯峻拒之，卒不署牒。㑹閣部大臣及言官亦多捄澤者，乃得釋。尋改儀制，掌朝廷典章、封册、學校貢舉及四方章奏。前主事姚鏌嘗類為書，未備，及澯乃卒，就之進精膳員，外㑹大禮，議興，澯與諸臣哭諫，帝怒，悉繫詔獄，澯竟以杖死，年三十有八。澯未死，猶力創草，疏期再上。及困篤，投其疏曰：「身盡廢矣，獨此心耿耿耳」。隆慶改元，贈太常少卿。 |
