29  | 王度，字子中，歸善人。少肆力經史。洪武中，以明經薦，拜山東道監察御史。抗章十餘上，多見用。建文庚辰，靖難」兵起，李景隆敗績，詔以盛庸代之。度密陳便宜，有東昌之捷。景隆徵還，復秉國政，忌庸功䜛之度，亦日疎。辛巳夏六月，濟寧告急，度請募兵。壬午春，小河之捷，命度勞師徐州。及永樂即位，坐黨禍戌賀縣，旋闔門被繫，寘於法，戚屬連坐一百五十五戸。仁宗即位，詔曰：「方孝孺等皆忠臣可憫」。因大赦諸家族之存者，户留一丁應戍。於是度死節益著，提學歐陽鐸立祠祀之。嘉靖十三年，詔盡釋親屬之在戍者，給其裔孫王朝堂衣巾，俾世世奉祀。 |
