吳　嶽，字汝喬，汶上人。嘉靖壬辰進士，歴户部主事。督上谷，餉吏進積羨千金，嶽正色拒曰：「羡金即正餉也，豈可以為利？」歴郎中，出守廬州，悉罷却府堂供稅。又知保定府，奏裁免征徭十之六七。後累官僉都御史，以疾予告。數年，起為右副都御史，轉吏部侍郎、晉南吏部尚書。卒，謚介肅，賜祭葬如例。葉　洪，字子源，德州人。嘉靖己丑進士，授户科給事中，特疏諌帝不親祈穀，又極論汪鋐奸狀，忤㫖奪俸，鋐銜之。次年，以考察坐洪浮躁，貶寧國縣縣丞。又二年，復以大計禠其職。
