陳均字平甫，俊卿從孫。安貧力學，以累舉當奉，大對不就。㕘稽《宋史》及司馬氏《稽古錄》、徐氏國紀》、李氏《續通鑑長編》諸書，用朱子《綱目》、《義例》、《提要備言》、《輯成《宋鑑舉要備要》二書。起太祖建隆庚申，迄寧宗嘉定甲申，凡八十八卷。端平初，時宰言於朝，下福州，取其書賜迪功郎，不受。陳嘉言。景陵人為復州學諭，以文行為鄉里所推。開禧初，金人犯景陵被執，脅使降，嘉言厲聲不絶，自沈於水，同室六人俱死。
