鄭憲字有度，仙遊人，穎悟絶人，端和純粹，有黃叔度之風。正德丁丑進士，授刑部主事，為大司寇劉玉所知委，㸔詳諸司奏牘。尋丁內外艱，先後六年不入私室。服闋在告積十四年，猶以主事謁選。先與禮部主事方獻夫相友善。及憲起復，方以議禮驟致通顯，相値邸舍，憲止一揖而出，方銜之。逾年，仍補刑部。蓋憲抗節履道，雖偃蹇濡滯弗恤也。終光祿寺丞。
