238  | 王爚，字仲潛，一字伯晦，新昌人。登嘉定進士。咸淳八年為左丞相。言賈似道誤國喪師之罪，于是始降詔切責似道。日食，乞罷黜，以答天譴。京學生上書詆陳宜中，或謂先生實使之，遂罷職奉祠。初先生兼中書時，請詔大臣「哀恫警省，修德行政，摧抑陰邪之氣燄，保護微陽之根本」。時論壯之。度宗詔充上蔡書院山主，後進率多成就。及登相位，卒與宜中不協，去。生平清修剛勁，李芾、趙卯發、唐震皆從之遊，皆以節死。忠義之士，萃于一門，可謂沆瀣相承，千載猶勁者矣。 |
