褒恤士由，恩禮有加，其弟若澄，字鏡壑，乾隆乙丑進 庶吉士，厯官內閣學士，亦工筆札。趙煥文懐寧人，官陜西白水縣典史。康熙戊午，興安賊叛，上官檄煥文招撫賊，執而脅之，煥文厲罵，乃拔舌刳目，棄屍井中。事聞， 贈主簿， ，賜祭，廕一子。潘江字蜀藻，桐城人。工詩古文，四方從遊甚衆。康熙己未，以博學鴻儒薦，母老不赴，隠居著述以自娛。所著有六經蠡測、字學析疑、記事珠古年譜及本齋詩集等書。方舟字百川，桐城諸生。弟苞，字靈臯，康熙丙戌進士，厯官內閣學士，俱湛深經術，負文章，重名藝林，稱「二方先生」。方觀承字遐穀，桐城人。雍正十年，以監賜中書生隨平郡王赴北路軍營掌書記。十三年，還京部。 銜，乾隆元年，授內閣中書直軍機處。三年，遷兵主事，陞至吏部郎中。七年，出為直●清河道，厯藩、臬二司。十三年，擢浙江巡撫。明年，晉直●縂督並。
