散指揮都知杜延進與其徒十九人謀作亂，事覺，上夜啟𤣥武門，命內侍宻詔殿前都虞候楊義擒捕，遲明皆獲，上御便殿，親詰之，庚寅，悉斬于市，夷其族義，廨在𤣥武門側上，一曰「教戰後池，鼓譟之聲徹于外，義聞之，不測其故，遽入至苑門，猶着皂綈袍，上召見，命坐，謂曰：「吾教水戰，因使其譟耳」。既出，謂侍臣曰：「此真忠臣也！」辛夘詔歸峽州，並直𨽻京師。　相、深、趙三州丁夫死太原城下者三百三十四人，詔復其家三年。戊戌，幸新水磑，遂幸飛龍院，賜從臣馬各一匹。乂幸封禪寺。　易州言契丹右千牛衞將軍王甲，以豐州來降，即命其子承美為豐州衙內指揮使。㑹要及經武聖略皆云：豐州本河西藏才族都首領王甲居之，契丹署右千牛衛大將軍，開寶二年，率衆歸順，又命其子承美為衙內指揮使，而本紀及實録遂言右千牛衛將軍王承美來降，誤也。己亥，上宴藩臣於後苑，酒酣，從容謂之曰：「卿等皆國家宿舊，久臨劇鎮，王事鞅掌，非朕所以優賢之意也」。前鳯翔節度使、兼中書令王彥超喻上指，即前奏曰：「臣本無勲勞，久冒榮寵，今已衰朽，乞骸骨，歸丘園，臣之願也」。前安逺節度使、兼中書令榆次武行德行德，初見天福十二年。前䕶國節度使郭從義、前定國節度使白重贊、前保大節度使楊廷璋，競自陳攻戰閥閲及履歴艱苦，上曰：「此異代事，何足論也！」庚子，以行德為太子太傅，從義為左金吾衛上將軍，彥超為右金吾衛上將軍，重贊為左千牛衛上將軍，廷璋為右千牛衛上將軍。寶訓及故事並稱向拱、袁彥亦同日罷方鎮授環衛。按今年七月，彥自靜難徙保大，拱自西京徙安逺，此時皆不在京師，蓋誤也，今不取。　太子太傅王溥遷太子太師，入謝，上顧曰：「溥十年作相，三遷一品，福履之盛，近世所未有也」。
