12  | 壬申，罷醮，兩府始分畨歸第，不歸者各宿於其府。知開封府王素嘗夜叩宮門求見，執政白事，彥博曰：「此際宮門，何可夜開？」詰旦，素入白，有禁卒告都虞候欲為變者，執政欲收捕按治，彥博曰：「如此則張皇驚衆」。乃召殿前都指揮使許懐徳問曰：「都虞候某甲者何如人？」懐徳曰：「在軍職中最為良謹」。彥博曰：「可保乎？」曰：「然」。彦博曰：「此卒必有怨於彼，誣之爾，當亟誅之以靖衆」。衆以為然。時富弼以疾在告，彥博請劉沆判狀尾，斬於軍門，彦博初欲自判，王堯臣揑其膝，彦博悟，因請沆判之，及上疾愈，沆譛彥博於上曰：「陛下違豫時，彦博斬告反者」。彦博以沆判呈上，上意乃解。 |
