6  | 戊子，契丹遣宣徽南院使、朔方節度使蕭從順、樞宻直學士給事中韓紹芳來賀長寜節，見於崇政殿，皇太后垂簾，置酒崇政殿，遂燕崇政殿。御史中丞薛奎館伴從順欲請見，且言南使至契丹者皆見太后，而契丹使來獨不得見，奎折之曰：「皇太后垂簾聽政，雖本朝羣臣亦未嘗得見也」。從順乃已，及辭，從順有疾，命宰臣王曾押宴都亭，馹從順問：「曾南朝毎降使車，悉皆假攝，何也？」曾曰：「使者之任惟其人，不以官之高下。今二府八人，六嘗奉使，惟其人，不以官也」。從順默然。既上壽，從順桀驁，稱疾留館下，不時發，上遣使問勞，挾太醫診視，相屬於道，樞宻使曹利用請一切罷之，從順知無能為，徐引去。 |
