33  | 庚戌，皇子德昭為貴州防禦使，時年十七，前代皇子出閤即封王，上以徳昭未冠，特殺其禮，非舊典也。辛亥，以前武寜節度使郭從義為䕶國節度使，從義先自徐州入朝，上召使撃毬殿庭，從義易衣跨騾，馳驟撃拂，曲盡其妙，將因是以結主知，及罷，上召賜坐，謂曰：「卿此技誠精絶，然非將相所為也」。從義大慙而退，從義家累鉅萬，金僕童千人，廐馬千餘匹，五代以来，節度使富强者，輙懐䟦扈之志，上威徳震耀，衆始絶望，從義移鎮河中，常鬱鬱不樂，謂僚佐曰：「從義齷齪藩臣，摧頽如是，當為英雄所笑矣！」乙卯，以刑部侍郎、權知鳳翔府劉熙古權知秦州，州接戎境，多被㓂害，熙古至，諭以朝廷恩信，取其酋豪子弟為質，戎人不敢犯法。 |
