50  | 甲子，以荊南行軍司馬、寧江節度使髙保朂為荊南節度使。上初聞保融之䘮，遣兵部尚書萬年李濤往弔，及還，上問保朂堪其事否？濤以為可任，而保朂貢奉亦數至，乃授節鉞。保朂性滛恣，日召市倡集府署，擇士卒之壯徤者，使相媟狎，保朂與姬妾帷簾共觀笑之，又好營造臺榭，極土木之巧，軍民咸怨。記室孫光憲諫曰：「宋有天下，四方諸侯，屈服面內，凡下詔書，皆合仁義，此湯武之君也。公宜克勤克儉，勿奢勿僣，上以奉朝廷，中以嗣祖宗，下以安百姓，若縱佚樂，非福也」。保朂不從。光憲，貴平人也。 是日，契丹吉里來降。 |
