丁酉，上批：「太學博士員闕進呈，以劉槩、黃裳為太學博士。此據御集。二月二十二日，神宗改正官制，員闕多歸吏部，以謂不可毫髮増損，曽孝寛以吏部尚書對，戒飭甚峻，孝寛云：「適有一事欲奏稟，比有太學博士闕一人，臣以為可以預選而無恩例。一人臣以為不可為，以恩例當得法，行之初，不敢申請，故欲面稟，蓋可預選者，狀元葉祖洽，乃無恩例，不可占射，不可為者，獲賊改官人董希以恩例當在祖洽之上，神宗黙然，即日批付中書，太學博士並堂選，此據曾氏南遊記，舊當考詳，今附見。八月十六日，乃自鄆州召孝寛為吏書，此時未也。又八月二十二日，祖洽見任國子監丞罰銅，記舊必誤，或誤黄裳為祖洽也。韓嗣云：官制成，神宗謂已盡善。初，太學官寺監丞簿，並許吏部注授，曾孝寛為尚書，上與語及官制，孝寛曰：固善，然臣到未幾，見太學博士闕，二人争得之，其一人董希，以捕盜改秩，其一人葉祖洽，以進士第一為京官，兩人方争此闕，在吏部格，當與董希，此非有司所敢定也」。神宗眀日批：寺監丞、簿、太學官並堂除」。
