14  | 甲寅，鎮復遺執政書，言：「鎮前後六奏，宗廟社稷安危大計，而兩奏親納中書，厯月踰時，寂然不見有所猷為，此鎮任言之責，不可以不待罪也。古之人三諫而不從，則去。今鎮已六諫矣。古之人仕魯不合則去之齊，不合則去之衛之晉，惟其意之所之。今天下一統，鎮去而何所之乎？惟有待罪而已。相公又教以不可效干名希進之人，鎮退而竊自惟念，不敢奉教而決然為之者，義當死朝廷之刑，不可以死亂兵之下也。此方是鎮擇死之時，尚安暇顧干名希進之嫌，而不為去就之決哉！夫事有緩而不可急為者，亦有急而不可緩為者，當緩而急，當急而緩，其為患均。天之見變亦然，流星與彗之變是也。今彗之變當急，而朝廷尚欲緩之，此鎮寧死於朝廷之刑也。伏願諸公攜鎮之書，言於上前，速定大計。如其不然，即賜鎮之死，放鎮歸田，解鎮之職，而置之散外，皆諸公之賜也」。 |
