64  | 癸丑，宰臣王曽加門下侍郎、兼戸部尚書、昭文館大學士。樞宻副使、尚書右丞張知白，加工部尚書、平章事、集賢殿大學士。樞宻使曹利用加司空。甲寅，樞宻副使張士遜加左丞，參知政事呂夷簡加禮部侍郎。魯宗道加給事中。樞宻副使晏殊加刑部侍郎。國朝故事，敘班，以宰相為首，親王次之，使相又次之。樞宻使雖檢校三師、兼侍中、尚書、中書令，猶班宰相下。咸平初，曹彬以樞宻副使兼侍中，位戸部侍郎、平章事，李沆下，循故事也。乾興初，王曽由次相，為㑹靈觀使，曹利用由樞宻使、領景靈宮使，時以宮觀使為重，詔利用班曽上，然議者深以為非。至是，曽進昭文館大學士、玉清昭應宮使，同集殿廬，將告謝，而利用猶欲班曽上，閤門不敢裁，帝與太后坐承明殿乆，至遣押班江徳明趣閤門，閤門皇惑，莫知所出，曽抗聲目吏曰：「但奏宰相王曽等告謝」。班既定，利用欝欝不平，帝使張士遜慰曉之，庚申，詔宰臣、樞宻使敘班如故事，而利用志驕，尚居次相張知白上，及聞召張旻於河陽為樞宻使，疑代已始悔懼焉。 殿前副都指揮使、振武節度使楊崇勲，嘗詣中書白事，屬㣲雨新霽，崇勲穿泥鞹直登堦，曽頷之，不以常禮，延坐崇勲退，劾奏其失，送宣徽院問狀，翌日，對上請傳詔釋罪，太后問其故，曰：「崇勲武夫，不知朝廷之義，舉劾者，柄臣，所以振紀綱，寛釋者，人君所以示恩徳，如此則仁愛歸於上，而威令肅於下矣」。 |
