顏鯨，字應雷，慈谿人。嘉靖三十五年進士。授行人。擢御史，出視倉場。奸人馬漢怙定國公勢，貸子錢漕卒。償不時，則沒入其糧，為怨家所訴。漢持定國書至，鯨立論殺。四十一年，畿輔、山東西、河南北大諗。鯨請州縣贓罰銀毋輸京師，盡易粟備振，且發之。內府新錢為糴本。帝悉報可。已，上漕政便宜六事。
