78  | 尚褫，字景福，羅山人。正統四年進士。除行人。上書請毋囚繫大臣。擢南御史。以劾周銓下獄，與他御史皆謫驛丞，得雲南虛仁驛。景泰五年冬因災異上書陳數事，中言：「忠直之士，冒死陳言。執政者格以條例，輕則報罷，重則中傷，是言路雖開猶未開也。釋教盛行，誘煽聾俗，由掌邦禮者畏王振勢，度僧多至此，宜盡勒歸農。」章下禮部，尚書胡濙惡其刺己，悉格不行。量移豐城知縣，為邑豪誣構繫獄，尋得釋。 |
