李頤，字惟貞，餘干人。隆慶二年進士。授中書舍人。博習典故，負才名。萬歷初，擢御史。同官胡涍、景嵩、韓必顯，給事中雒遵相繼獲譴，抗疏申救，不聽。清軍湖廣、廣西，請免士民遠戍，只充傍近衛所軍，制可。忤張居正，出為湖州知府。遷蘇松兵備副使、湖廣按察使。鄖陽兵變，知府沈鈇且得罪，頤為白其冤，而密殲首亂者。以母喪歸。
