25  | 二十三年春正月癸卯，遣都督僉事李宗城、指揮楊方亨封平秀吉為日本國王。三月乙未，賜朱之蕃等進士及第、出身有差。夏五月丁酉，京師地震，敕修省。秋九月戊寅，青海部長永邵卜犯甘肅，參將達雲敗之。乙酉，詔復建文年號。冬十一月辛未，湖廣災，蠲振有差。十二月辛丑，大學士趙志皋等請發留中章奏，不報。是年，江北大水，淮溢，浸泗州祖陵。 |

| 45 | 二十三年九月，昖奏立次子琿為嗣。先是，昖庶長子臨海君珒陷賊中，驚憂成疾，次子光海君琿收集流散，頗著功績，奏請立之。禮部尚書范謙言繼統大義，長幼定分，不宜僭差，遂不許。至是復奏，引永樂間恭定王例上請，禮臣執奏，不從。二十四年五月，昖復疏請立琿，禮部仍執不可，詔如議。時國儲未建，中外恫疑，故尚書范謙於朝鮮易封事三疏力持云。 |
