二十六年春三月庚午，賜李春芳等進士及第、出身有差。夏四月乙巳，巡撫四川都御史張時徹、副總兵何卿討平白草叛番。己酉，俺答求貢，拒之。秋七月丙辰，河決曹縣。八月丙戌，免陜西被災稅糧。九月戊辰，戶部尚書王杲以科臣劾其通賄下獄，遣戍。閏月丙午，振成都饑。冬十一月壬午，大內火，釋楊爵於獄。乙未，皇后崩。十二月辛酉，逮甘肅總兵官仇鸞。乙亥，海寇犯寧波、台州。是年，琉球入貢。
