12  | 夏四月己未，李景隆及燕兵戰於白溝河，敗之。明日復戰，敗績，都督瞿能、越巂侯俞淵、指揮滕聚等皆戰死，景隆奔德州。五月辛未，奔濟南。燕兵陷德州，遂攻濟南。庚辰，景隆敗績於城下，南走。參政鐵鉉、都督盛庸悉力禦之。六月己酉，遣尚寶丞李得成諭燕罷兵。 |

| 8 | 夏四月，景隆進兵河間，與郭英、吳傑、平安期會白溝河。乙卯，王營蘇家橋。己未，遇平安兵河側。王以百騎前，佯卻，誘安陣動，乘之，安敗走。遂薄景隆軍，戰不利。暝收軍，王以三騎殿，夜迷失道，下馬伏地視河流，乃辨東西，渡河去。庚申，復戰。景隆橫陣數十里，破燕後軍。王自帥精騎橫擊之，斬瞿能父子。令丘福衝中堅，不得入。王盪其左，景隆兵乃繞出王後，大戰良久，飛矢雨注。王三易馬，矢盡揮劍，劍折走登堤，佯引鞭若招後繼者。景隆疑有伏，不敢前，高煦救至，乃解。時南軍益集，燕將士皆失色。王奮然曰：「吾不進，敵不退，有戰耳。」乃復以勁卒突出其背，夾攻之。會旋風起，折景隆旂，王乘風縱火奮擊，斬首數萬溺死者十餘萬人。郭英潰而西，景隆潰而南，盡喪其所賜璽書斧鉞，走德州。五月癸酉，王入德州，景隆走濟南。庚辰，攻濟南，敗景隆軍城下。鐵鉉、盛庸堅守，不克。 |
