| 14 | 元冀好讀古書，然甚賢《鬼谷子》，為其《指要》幾千言。《鬼谷子》要為無取，漢時劉向、班固錄書，無《鬼谷子》。《鬼谷子》後出，而險峭薄，恐其妄言亂世，難信，學者直其不道。而世之言縱橫者，時葆其書。尤者，晚乃益出七術，怪謬異甚，不可考校，其言益奇，而道益愜，使人狙狂失守，而易於陷墜。幸矣，人之葆之者少。今元子又大之以《指要》，嗚呼，其為好術也過矣！ |
