105  | 陳堯，字敬甫，通州人。嘉靖乙未進士，授工部主事。治清江浦，鑿黄河上游，避淮口以逹清江，累陞貴州按察使。三殿災，役民採木，堯為更番之議，以紓民力。御史奉詔採丹砂，又議開永寧、銀池，堯皆力持之。陞廣西左布政，裁省靖江宗人虚禄以萬計。進副都御史，督漕河、高郵，湖隄屢壊，堯樹木實茭楗以代石，堤遂固。時黄河徙道，漕艘皆膠淤，堯遣水工探刁陽湖得故漕道，舟以通行。尋致仕歸。袁隨，字民悦，通州人。嘉靖丙辰進士，授户部主事。嚴嵩當國，欲羅致之，餌以銓司，不應，出知德安府。歲薦饑，隨不動，官帑多方賑䘏，全活甚多。擢山西提學，累陞四川左布政。忤張居正，罷歸。 |
