60  | 夏四月，錢若水上言：『綏州自賜趙保忠以來，戶口凋殘。今欲復城之，用工計百餘萬，徒為煩擾，絕無所利。』已罷其役，若水復詣闕面陳其事，上甚嘉納。初，若水率眾過河，分布軍伍，咸有節制，深為戎將所伏。上知之，謂左右曰：『若水儒臣中知兵者也。』癸酉，命田錫以本官兼侍御史知雜事，仍遣中使諭旨曰：『卿每上章疏，所司不敢滯留，朕皆一一親覽。知雜之任，朝廷甚難其人，故以命卿。仍不妨徐徐撰述，或有所見，即具奏聞。』 |
