秋八月庚辰，王珪議上大行皇帝謚曰『神文聖武明孝』，廟號仁宗。司馬光言：『人君之職，有三而已：量材而授官，一也；度功而加賞，二也；審罪而行罰，三也。材有短長，故官有能否；功有高下，故賞有厚薄；罪有大小，故罰有輕重。此三者，人君所當用心。』
