三月戊寅，申嚴本路人不許授諸司屬官，其已注授者，並令改授。壬午，王元善自北來歸。元善凡三使，留七年，至是始歸。戊子，詔蠲江淮州軍今年二稅，己丑，錄襄城捍禦功，高達、王登、程大元、李和奮進職增秩，餘補、轉有差。辛丑，上諭輔臣：『謝奕修服除，且以郡予之。』方叔奏：『年來戚里予郡太多。祖宗時，官高者必換右，蓋有深意。』上曰：『戚里正卿以上即換右班，此典故也。』
