二月癸未朔，詔禮部貢舉。以鄭性之知樞密院事兼參知政事，禮部尚書鄒應龍為端明殿學士、簽書樞密院事兼權參知政事，左諫議大夫李宗勉為端明殿學士、同簽書樞密院事。甲申，李鳴復罷，以資政殿學士知紹興府。乙酉，葛洪薨。癸巳，詔故參知政事宣繒贈太師，謚忠靖。子璧服闋日與職事官，以嘗預定策元勳。又詔：『繒寶慶初元所進朕即位事始，悉本先帝遺訓，可宣付史館。』丁酉，諸王宮大小學校教授壬辰應進對，言：『蜀中宣制並建，陛下曾考訂否?』上問以舊例，奏云：『乾道初，虞允文以同知樞密為四川宣撫，時汪應辰歸班。開禧間，安丙在沔州，楊輔為成都制置，旋即召還。今李??宣撫在內，楊恢制置在外，號令未免牽制。』上曰：『適與輔臣言，令楊恢參替安撫矣。』奏云：『聖算及此，全蜀之幸!』己亥，屯田郎官王萬進對，上曰：『卿是淮人，熟知邊事。』奏云：『臣非知兵。陸贄有言：兵法無他，人情而已。但以人情區處，即是兵法。』上問其說，奏云：『一和字沮眾誤國。』上曰：『和亦不可廢。』奏云：『若專立為題則不可，要當立為戰守規模。』癸卯，詔以朱熹所著《通鑑綱目》送國子監刊進。甲辰，知慶元府趙與??［1］、知平江府王遂、知建寧府姚瑤、知常州何處信各以秤提會子進一秩。
