夏四月丙子朔，賜太師秦檜甲第一區。戊寅，檜遷居賜第，命內侍東頭供奉官王晉錫押教坊樂導之。賜檜銀絹、緡錢各萬，採千匹，金銀器皿、錦綺帳褥六百八事，花千四百枝。是夜，彗出東方。癸未，賜正奏名進士劉章等三百人及第、出身、同出身，正奏名張鎡新科明法及第。甲申，特奏名林洵美等二百四十七人、武舉正奏名應裒然等、特奏名三人授官有差。丁亥，赦天下。前四日，上謂秦檜曰：『彗星見，朕甚懼焉。卿等可圖所以消弭之道。』檜奏太宗、真宗朝，嘗緣彗星疏決獄囚等事。上曰：『且降詔，以四事為主：避殿、減膳、寬民力、出滯獄。』於是手詔監司、郡守條具便民事目，憲臣巡行，親決獄事。至是肆赦。庚寅，知敘州邵隆卒。隆在金州，數以兵出北境，秦檜恨之。至是因飲酒暴卒。或謂檜密使人鴆殺之。敘人皆悲哭，為之罷市。甲午，上諭大臣曰：『比遣將捕盜，閩中第令殲其渠魁，脅從者皆釋。若措置得宜，優與推恩，不然，罰亦隨之。』庚子，省四川都轉運司，以其事歸宣撫司。辛丑，新和政縣令湯思退、行太府寺主簿王曮並為秘書省正字，左承務郎洪邁為敕令所刪定官。邁，皓子也。三人皆以博學宏詞合格賜第，故有是除。既而言官汪勃論邁其父不靖之謀，同惡相濟，乃以為福州州學教授。
