十二月癸丑，尚書右僕射萬俟卨上《重修貢舉敕令格式》五十卷，《看詳法意》四百八十七卷。甲寅，罷江淮等路提點坑冶鑄錢司，以其事付轉運司。己未，宰執聞進呈殿中侍御史周方崇論陳敦、趙迪之貪暴無恥。上曰：『朕見人才難得，未嘗不留意愛惜，每諭臺諫以風聞言事，不可容易，須再三詢訪。朕惟言者之聽，豈可不審?』庚申，上謂大臣曰：『昨下詔求言，四方之士陳獻甚多，朕一一披覽，所言利害，極有可取。宜擇其議論尤切當者量與擢恩，庶幾有以勸之。』時應詔者甚眾，而後省以敕令所刪定官杜莘老、新黃州州學教授潘慈明為首，乃各循一資。祕書省著作郎兼普安、恩平郡王府教授黃中言：『恩平郡王講《禮記》終篇。』詔令講《易》。時王府官龍淵已親幸，他教授或與之過從觴詠，中獨未嘗與之坐朝夕，見則揖而退。其後他教授多蒙其力，而中獨不徙官。
