十一月丁巳朔，出內庫錢三萬九千餘緡付戶部，代平江府、常、湖州水災下戶積欠租稅。辛酉，詔大禮金銀錢帛並減半供進。翌日，沈該等言：『近蒙聖恩，捐內庫錢代三郡積欠，以寬民力。今所進又減半，深恐錫賚之際，或不足用。』上曰：『大禮支費，朕半年前預立定格，無分毫濫。比之前郊，才及十之五。』該曰：『陛下恭儉出於天性，豈前代帝王所可跂及?』已卯，冬日至，合祀天地於南郊，赦天下。故事，每遇大禮，則命近臣看詳編置罪人所犯，或放或徙。秦檜用事，士大夫貶責者雖屢赦不移。至是用何溥言。壬午，命權吏部尚書賀允中、刑部侍郎楊揆儉舉，因是遂為永制。
