九月丁酉，詔：『朕仰稽祖宗故事開講。其日可召輔臣觀講。』戊戌，詔：『比下求言之詔，欲急聞過失。四方有獻言者，並付後省看詳。今已踰月，未聞推擇來上。可令催促。』詔：『蜀去行都萬里，人材豫當儲蓄，以備緩急。欲舉一忠殼明敏之士周知蜀利害者為都轉運使，可令集侍從、臺諫，各舉所知，以俟採擇。』甲辰，侍讀洪遵進讀三朝寶訓，至太宗問『君子少小人多何也』、呂蒙正曰：『此繫時運盛衰。』上曰：『朕以為不然，正在人君如何。』
