六月壬戌，駕部郎中朱壽昌者，巽之子也。其母劉氏嫁民間，壽昌行四方訪求，不獲，飲食罕御酒肉，與人言輒流涕。以浮屠法灼臂燒頂，刺血寫佛書，冀遂其志。又棄官入秦，與家人訣：不見母不復還。行次同州，得之，劉氏時年已七十餘矣。永興錢明逸表其孝節，癸亥，詔壽昌赴闕朝見。先是，言者共攻李定不服母喪，王安石力主定，因忌壽昌。壽昌前已再典郡，於是折資通判河中府。宗正寺言：『每歲正月一日，裝寫《仙源積慶圖》、《宗藩慶緒錄》各一本，供送龍圖、天章、寶文閣，令祖宗非袒免親，更不賜名。授官一依外官之法，合與不合，修入圖冊。』詔送禮院詳定。禮官言：『親疏異則恩禮不得不異，世系同則圖籍不得不同。二者並行而不相悖，親親之義備矣。所有祖宗非袒免親，慾乞依舊修寫入《仙源積慶圖》、《宗藩慶緒錄》。其在外者，委宗正寺逐年取索附籍。』從之。翰林學士司馬光乞差前知龍水縣范祖禹同脩《資治通鑒》，許之。祖禹，鎮從孫也。

秋七月辛未，太常丞、知湖州鞠真卿為太常博士、直秘閣，以宣徽北院使王拱辰、權御史中丞鄧潤甫並言真卿自改官至登朝三十年，非特恩，未嘗陳請磨勘故也。
