秋七月乙卯，權開封府推官張商英為提點河東路刑獄。商英先上書謂：『三年無改於父之道。今先帝陵土未乾，奈何輕議變更?』又嘗移簡蘇軾欲作言事官，或得之以告呂公著，公著不悅，故出之。商英簡蘇子瞻云：『老僧欲住烏寺呵佛罵祖一巡，如何?』孫林過子瞻，竊得其簡，示呂申公之子希純，希純白申公，申公不悅。出商英。壬戌，御札付中書省曰：『門下侍郎韓維嘗面奏范百祿任刑部侍郎所為不正，輔臣奏劾臣寮當形章疏，明論曲直，豈但口陳，意欲無迹，何異姦讒?可罷門下侍郎，守本官分司南京，仍放辭謝。』呂公著即上疏言：『韓維素有時望，俟其有請，聽使去位，以全君臣之大體。』甲子，詔韓維知鄧州，然猶用前責辭。中書舍人曾肇封還韓維辭頭，不報。乙丑，呂陶為京西轉運副使，上官均為比部員外郎。戊辰，呂公著復論責韓維事。辛未，韓維為資政殿大學士、知鄧州。
