五月壬辰，上諭輔臣：『趙與??奏，乞定所招軍名及差人統馭，如何?』槐奏：『合令與 ??就統者，已令用遊擊名軍矣。』甲午，孔子五十世孫元龍授初品官。丁酉，以新除權吏部侍郎時暫權中書舍人兼侍講陳大方、新除起居舍人兼權直學士院兼權直舍人院兼侍講林存、太府卿兼檢正諸房公事饒虎臣為殿試詳定官。戊戌，御集英殿策進士。甲辰，上諭輔臣曰：『此去秋防不遠，宜事事為之備。』槐奏：『蒲擇之申羅氏鬼國報，思、播州謂北兵留大理者招養蠻人為嚮道，此不得不憂。』上曰：『宜令擇人多方扶持之，彼不能支，則駸駸及我矣。』乙巳，上諭輔臣：『邊備合加申嚴。』槐奏：『蒲擇之謂見措置瀘、敘之上鹽井，設險以待之，仍以鬼國為慮。此事不可吝費，使之大作規模，或趲調以助其力。』元鳳奏：『若令播州以兵助羅鬼，制司以兵助播州，亦似可行。』上曰：『更令制司從長區處。』上諭輔臣：『邕、宜之備，不可不加嚴。老鼠隘畢竟如何?合於此三兩月便定規模。』槐奏：『當以聖旨催促，今惟有盡力，人事而已。』戊申，上曰：『近來北兵非昔時比，若我有以制之，無不取勝。』槐等奏：『在我為必勝之計可也。』因奏吳淵經理光化之畫。上曰：『此當以計取，如苻堅敗於淝水，亦是以計勝之。』甲寅，御集英殿，賜正奏名進士文天祥等及第、出身、同出身凡五百六十九人。丙辰，賜特奏名進士袁復元等敕，凡六百六十人。
