45  | 八月己卯，太白晝見。前桐城縣尉周諤上書，詔中書省記姓名。上日閱匭函小臣所言利害，無不詳覽如此。辛卯，詔中大夫、尚書左丞蒲宗孟守本官知汝州。先是，宰執同對，上有無人材之歎，宗孟對曰：『人材半為司馬光以邪說壞之。』上不語，正視宗孟久之。宗孟懼甚，無以為容。上復曰：『蒲宗孟乃不取司馬光耶?司馬光者未論別事，只辭樞密副使。朕自即位以來，唯見此一人。他人則雖迫之使去，亦不肯矣。』又因泛論古今人物，宗孟盛稱揚雄之賢。上作色言：『揚雄《劇秦美新》不佳也。』罷朝，安禮戲宗孟曰：『揚雄為公坐累!』九月癸卯朔，日有食之。中書舍人趙彥若等言：『六房公事，乞據舍人員數分領，以吏、戶、禮、兵、刑、工為次，其年事、班簿、制敕、庫房並通領。』從之。戊辰，起居郎蔡京言：『舊修起居注官二員不分左右。故月輪一員修纂。今起居郎、舍人分隸兩省，所以備左右。史官則左當書動，右當書言。乞自今起居郎、舍人隨左右分記言動。』從之。 |
