五月甲辰，熒惑犯歲。秘書監何志同奏：『慶歷間，嘗命儒臣集四庫秘藏敘次為籍，名之曰《崇文總目》。其書之總凡三萬六百六十九卷。今一館所藏，善否相揉，號為全本者，不過二萬餘卷，而脫簡斷編，亡散闕逸之數亦如之。宜及今有所搜採，視慶歷舊錄及《總目》之外別有異書，並許借傳。』從之。詔改立詞學兼茂科。乙卯，彗出奎、婁間。甲子，詔：『蔡京權重位高，人屢告變，全不引避，公議不容。言章屢上，難以屈法。制曰：宜褫師臣之秩，俾參宮保之官。』京西轉運使張杲言：『蔡州諸縣有瑞麥，一莖兩岐至七八岐者凡十畝。』具圖十二本以聞。
