秋七月癸丑，上出戒諭閻仲御札一紙宣示皇太子與黃洽等，令閻仲留意軍務，毋事交結，以邀時譽之意。洽等奏：『陛下於諸將或長或短，無有不知。』上曰：『諸將長短，朕皆備知，因其受病處針之，使知警懼耳。』是月，賑諸州水災。

八月甲子朔，日有食之。是月，湖北運判孫紹遠朝辭。上曰：『祖宗時廣西鹽如何?』對曰：『係官賣。』上曰：『若廣西客鈔可行，祖宗已行了。』紹遠又奏鈔法蠹國害民，上曰：『所聞不一，因卿言而得其實。』
