三月辛卯，進呈耿延年狀：翻鑄到淳熙十一年錢樣。上曰：『且用舊樣，不必頻改。』是日，進呈刑部侍郎曾逮奏，乞依乾道九年三月二十三日指揮，令刑部長貳、郎官并巡察御史每月通輪錄囚，具名件聞奏，庶得糾察之職，稍復祖宗之制。上曰：『可令用每季仲月。』於是詔令刑部、御史台於每季仲月親錄囚徒。乙巳，詔知福州趙汝愚除敷文待制再任。上宣諭：『汝愚在福州甚宣力。』庚戌，詔知泉州司馬伋除龍圖待制再任，兩浙運判張礿除徽猷閣兼轉運副使再任。是月，親試舉人，賜衛涇以下及第、出身有差。趙傑之知太湖縣，有言其不丁繼母憂者，上諭宰臣王淮等曰：『士大夫一被此名，終身不可贖。行遣中稍為宛轉，不須明言其罪。』遂降一官放罷。聖度之忠厚如此。
