六月庚午，新知南劍州曾植言：『近日公正之道微，請托之風盛。省部之理訴、倉庫之出納、刑獄之決讞、州縣之爭訟，無一不用關節，欲望百司舉職，難矣。乞戒飭百官：若內外皆行公道，毋循私情，其有不悛，行法自近始，庶幾百官各揚乃職。』從之。甲申，詔：『可令翰林學士、諫議大夫、給事中、中書舍人各舉堪任監察御史二人，以備擢用。遵用祖宗故事施行。』壬辰，詔侍御史亦令薦舉。
