三月戊子朔，詔罷今年冬至親祠南郊之禮，以九月擇日有事於明堂。上謂輔臣曰：『明堂者，布政之宮，天子路寢，乃大慶殿是也。況明道初，合祀天地於此。』己丑，詔以大慶殿為明堂。戊戌，詔群臣毋得上尊號。文彥博等伏奏至于三四，上固拒之。詔祠明堂宜盡物以遵典禮，自乘輿服御諸物，務令有司裁簡之。詔兩浙流民男女不能自存者，聽人收養後不得復取。丙辰，宋祁上《明堂通議》二篇，祁自序略曰：『上薄三代，旁搜漢、唐，禮之過者折之，說之繆者正之，以合開寶一王之典，聊佐乙夜觀書之勤。』
